Praia da Manta Rota

Praia da Manta Rota is the eastern Algarve's best-kept family secret—a seemingly endless stretch of golden sand that remains remarkably uncrowded even at the height of summer. Located in the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António, near the Spanish border, this beach offers everything families need: warm, shallow waters, soft sand perfect for castle-building, and a relaxed atmosphere that draws mostly Portuguese families rather than international tourists.
